Welcome to AfterLife. By accessing or using our website, purchasing our products, or creating a digital memorial page, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of AfterLife (“you”).

1. Overview

AfterLife provides:

• Physical products such as QR tribute memorials

• Digital memorial pages accessible via unique QR codes

• Subscription-based services for ongoing hosting and access

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes.
You may not:

• Interfere with website functionality or security

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or user accounts

• Upload harmful code or attempt to disrupt service

• Use our products or services for any illegal, abusive, or defamatory purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we detect misuse.

3. Purchases & Payments

All purchases made through AfterLife must be paid in full at the time of checkout.
We accept payments through secure third-party processors such as Stripe or WooCommerce Payments.

You agree that:

• All billing information you provide is accurate and complete

• You are authorized to use the payment method provided

• Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect completed orders

4. Digital Tribute Pages

Each physical product includes access to a digital memorial page, which may require creating an account.

User Responsibilities:

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the information you upload is accurate and lawful

• Having rights or permission to upload photos, videos, audio, or text

• Managing privacy settings of your tribute page

• Keeping your login credentials secure

AfterLife is not responsible for:

• Unauthorized access caused by QR codes displayed publicly

• Content uploaded by users

• Lost or deleted content if your subscription expires

5. Subscription & Billing

Digital tribute pages require an active subscription after the included free trial period.

Subscription Details:

• The monthly fee is $9.99 per tribute page

• Billing renews automatically each month

• You may cancel at any time through your account

• If cancelled, the tribute page may become inaccessible

We do not automatically delete your content upon cancellation, but access may be restricted. Contact support if you wish to permanently delete your memorial page.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Physical tribute products (QR memorial tribute, shadowboxes, etc.) are crafted and shipped after purchase.

Shipping Terms:

• Delivery times vary by location

• You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information

• AfterLife is not liable for delivery delays caused by carriers

• Lost or damaged items must be reported within 7 days of delivery

7. Returns & Refunds

Because AfterLife products are custom-made and engraved, refunds are limited.

We generally offer refunds only when:

• The product arrives damaged

• The engraving contains an error caused by us

• The item never arrives

Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on AfterLife, including:

• Logos

• Website design

• Product images

• Text and graphics

• Digital memorial platform features

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our permission.

User-submitted memorial content remains your property, but by uploading it, you grant AfterLife permission to host and display it as part of the memorial service.

9. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your account or subscription if:

• You violate these Terms

• You engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior

• You upload inappropriate, illegal, or abusive content

You may also cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• AfterLife is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• We are not responsible for data loss, unauthorized access, or service interruptions

• QR code functionality depends on third-party devices and internet access

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to digital tribute pages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable product or service.

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, hosting services, analytics tools).
Their privacy policies and terms govern how your information is handled by them.
We are not responsible for the actions of external service providers.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time.
The updated version will be posted with the new “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of our site indicates acceptance of any changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which AfterLife operates.
